The Community Overdose Action Team (COAT) is a community coalition made up of over 250 people that works toward addressing reducing overdose deaths and drug abuse in Montgomery County. This is a multi-disciplinary coalition made up of law enforcement/fire/ems, treatment and harm reduction providers, governmental agencies, community private citizens, medical personnel, persons with lived experience and peers. We work to introduce community programs and initiatives to educate, support and assist community members who are struggling with SUD/MH and those who love them.
