Clubhouse is a community of adults living with mental illness, builds relationships, and promotes recovery.

Clubhouses are member-based communities where people living with persistent mental illness come to rebuild their lives. Since the movement’s origin in 1948, Clubhouses are located in more than 300 communities across 28 counties have provided their members with this proven approach to rehabilitation, recovery, and reintegration into the community.

Miracle Clubhouse is a vital community for hope, growth, and opportunities for people recovering from mental illness in the Dayton area. Miracle Clubhouse believes that every member can recover from the effects of mental illness to lead a personally satisfying, productive life.

Overview:

• Work-ordered day provides opportunities for meaningful work

• Employment program assist members in finding employment

• Social activities promote friendship and connections

• Educational assistance supports achievement of educational goals

• Community support assists members in acquiring affordable housing, disability benefits, and other services

• Outreach calls and visits help members stay in touch and receive support

Eligibility Criteria: Adult (over 18 years of age) with a diagnosed mental illness. A one-page referral form (from therapist, case manager, self) and documentation of mental illness required.
