The Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Programs Inc. (UMADAOP of Dayton) is a 501©3 organization located at 1 Elizabeth Place Rt-1 in Dayton, Ohio. Hours of operation is Monday & Wednesday 8:00am to 7:00pm and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am to 4:30 pm. The UMADAOP of Dayton has been in existence since 1980 and became an incorporated freestanding organization in 1991. UMADAOP mission is “To ensure that prevention, early intervention, treatment, re-entry and outreach services are available and accessible to all Montgomery County Residents, with a primary focus to the African American, Hispanic/Latino and underserved population. Drawing on over 30 years of front-line work, UMADAOP of Dayton places great emphasis on early education and providing a positive community environment, which is evident in its numerous evidence-based prevention, early intervention, outpatient treatment, health & wellness, re-entry and outreach programs and activities, focused on human development, preventing risky behaviors and reducing health disparities. Our programs and activities are structured to provide a foundation to build and rebuild positive, healthy, violence and substance free lifestyles, individuals, families and communities. UMADAOP of Dayton is culturally responsive to the diversity within Montgomery County and provides a comprehensive approach to meeting the diverse needs of individuals, youth, families and communities across the lifespan.
