Programs:
Family Coaching // Our team of family coaches is committed to helping
families achieve self-sufficiency. Coaches work hand-in-hand with individuals, assisting in setting meaningful goals, finding creative solutions, and making connections to valuable local programs and resources that promote stability and growth. At milestones along the way,
accomplishments are celebrated by providing monetary incentives to recognize the hard work and dedication it takes to
make positive changes.
Family Resource Coordinators // Our Family Resource Coordinators help
identify and remove barriers to academic success. Available for families and
students at Fairview Elementary, Edwin Joel Brown Middle School, and Thurgood Marshall High School.
Food Insecurity Outreach // Omega CDC’s Food Insecurity Outreach program partners with Miami Valley Meals to provide free pre-prepared meals to families and individuals facing food insecurity
Moms With Hope Project // A maternal family coach is strategically matched with mothers to provide crucial assistance to pregnant and parenting women, as well as expectant fathers. In a collaborative effort, Moms2B weekly sessions provide community-based support, along with Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath) Mobility Mentoring. This program is specifically
crafted for women facing the greatest risks, offering a comprehensive support system that spans from pregnancy through the crucial first
year of their baby’s life.
Prevention with a Purpose // Prevention with a Purpose is a substance abuse and violence prevention program designed to give students tools to help them make better decisions when facing the challenges of daily life. The program helps students build positive friendships and develop confidence in their ability to manage tough decisions, communicate effectively, and resist peer pressure. It is open to 5th and 6th grade students at Fairview Elementary and 7th and 8th-grade students at Edwin Joel Brown Middle School.

The program offers comprehensive career planning tools, aligning skills and interests with suitable fields, and provides vital resources like SAT/ACT practice, FAFSA assistance, and support for the Ohio Job Readiness Seal. Throughout the 4-year program, students gain hands-on experiences, honing crucial skills and earning scholarships.
Senior Sustainability Coordinator // At Omega CDC, we focus on enriching the lives of Omega Senior Lofts residents. We organize engaging activities and provide essential resources, including rent/utilities, healthcare,
food assistance, transportation, and community event updates.
Student Success Planning // This relationship-based approach pairs each child or youth with an adult navigator to craft personalized action plans in collaboration with their families and other caring adults. Student success plans focus on the child’s needs and strengths and pinpoint supports,
enrichments, and resources to overcome barriers, foster growth, and advance their goals. With a holistic perspective, Success Planning ensures every child is known, seen, and heard, establishing a positive bond with a caring adult and empowering students to take charge of their journey to success.
