WIC provides nutritious foods that promote good health for pregnant women, women who just had a baby, breastfeeding moms, infants and children up to age 5.
WIC is a nutrition education program. To qualify for WIC services you must live in Ohio, meet income guidelines, and have certain nutritional or health risks determined by the WIC health professional at the appointment. WIC provides nutrition education and support, breastfeeding education and support, referrals to other community agencies, and supplemental foods.
