Behavioral Diversion & Treatment Center

OBDTC is a mentoring program designed to embrace young people right where they’re at by imparting life changing strategies that will change their lives.

In-Home Behavior

Caregiver struggling with youth’s behaviors at home and throughout the community. Youth may be struggling getting along with other household members and/or struggling with behaviors outside of the home interacting with other youth and adults.

In-School Behavior

Caregiver/School Officials struggling with youth’s behaviors at school and during school hours. Youth may be struggling with his/her behaviors while in the school setting….excessive tardiness, getting along with other students, and/or getting along with staff.

Gang Behavior/Violence

Caregivers struggling with their youth being influenced by or actively in a gang. Youth may be struggling with gang involvement.

Mental Health/Substance abuse

Caregivers struggling with their youths mental health and/or Substance abuse issues. Youth may be struggling with his/her mental health and/or substance abuse issues which may be affecting other aspects of his/her life

Probation/Parole

Caregivers may have youth involved in the criminal justice system. Youth may be struggling with criminogenic behavior that is affecting other areas of his/her life.

Providing services and support for the Caregiver is one of the most important aspects of our program. Just understanding stress, fatigue and burnout from a parental perspective, gives our program and its mentors the necessary tools to properly serve the home.
