The Community Overdose Action Team (COAT) is a community coalition that works toward reducing overdose deaths and drug misuse in Montgomery County.
The Community Overdose Action Team (COAT) is a community coalition made up of over 275 people that works to reducing overdose deaths and drug misuse in Montgomery County. This is a multi-disciplinary coalition made up of law enforcement/fire/EMS, treatment and harm reduction providers, governmental agencies, community private citizens, medical personnel, persons with lived experience, peers and other interested stakeholders. We work to introduce community programs and initiatives to educate, support and assist community members who are struggling with SUD/MH and for those who love them.
