Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center

The mission of the Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center is to intervene and educate to reduce family violence.

There continues to be an alarming increase in the number and severity of child abuse cases and incidents of interpersonal violence. We are seeing alarming numbers of individuals involving domestic violence-related incidents and abused children.

The services our agency provides are:

Short-term therapy and education for child victims of abuse

Accompanying victims of domestic violence at court dates to face their abuser

Meet with the parents/caregivers of developmentally disabled or delayed children under 3 and help connect them with the services they need to thrive

Provide survivors of domestic violence support services to heal from their trauma

Provide long-term therapy and Med Som services to children and adults
