Friends of The Castle

We are a gathering place of trust and friendship which supports adults with SPMI to achieve their highest level of competence and independence.

The Castle is a gathering place of trust and friendship which supports people with severe and persistent mental illness and disorders to achieve their highest level of competence and independence.

We have a very comprehensive program to assist adults with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness through many domains of their life. We provide groups on nutritional education, music, mental health, arts and crafts, games, social skills, yoga, exercise, health and safety, and medication education and compliance and peer support. We provide a hot homemade lunch, a small breakfast, transportation, and personal certified peer support. We take social outings monthly to practice social skills in society. We have volunteer and job readiness skills opportunities, along with healthy ADL's (activities of daily living) training.
